January 13th is not a monumental
day to many, but today I get back
my Bug shell .seven long months
it was away seven long months to
have it regelled and bodywork put
right.
Now as the chassis and engine are
finally finished the great day for
them to be reconnected some day
very soon.
The engine is still a 700c unit with
magnatex electronic ignition.
And fitted with SU Carb and
adaptor to reduce the height.
The rear wheels are GB alloys
fitted with Bug centres off evil bay.
Now the work starts to finish the
car for the summer of 2007
(which doesn’t flow off the
tongue like other dates)
With the box of new bits
to fitted let battle commence
and beat the dead line.
